Our story
27 High Street Navenby has a great story to tell and we are so pleased it's part of our journey...
Times gone by…
Until the 1960s the site was home to the local car garage and fuel station, F Fluck & Son. It was in fact the first self service pump in Lincolnshire! Through the 70s, 80s and 90s the site housed everything from a flower shop to haberdashery to an estate agent!

27 High Street became the Tea Rooms in 2000 and served traditional breakfasts and lunches to cliff villages community. Did you visit then?

Meanwhile down the road at Urban Angels it was all change as the country faced the reality of the pandemic. While the salon had to close we looked for things to do on those daily walks and Urban Gelato was born…

As the village took us to our hearts and lockdown 1.0 came to an end we looked for a permanent venue for our Gelato bar and continued to serve local residents and those from further afield…

After acquiring the old Tea Rooms and serving Gelato from the doorway we looked at ways of increasing our offering. We shut up shop in the autumn to complete a full refurbishment that included the addition of a brand new kitchen and a dumbwaiter! In November 2020 Urban Kitchen was born. We’ve embraced the lockdown and continue to serve you via click and collect as well as free local delivery…
